Green Haze 19 A5 from ACE Seeds of Spain is a true sativa strain that will be of interest to only the most hardened sativa fans and experienced growers looking for a challenge.

Green Haze 19 A5 has been created from a green phenotype of Oldtimers Haze, which itself has a genetic heritage that spans Mexico, Columbia, Thailand and southern India. The word ‘green’ simply refers to a type of Haze that remains green right up to maturity, even when grown at lower temperatures.

Green Haze 19 A5 grows with a very branchy, almost vine like structure. Stems are thin and weak with long internodes. Leaves are pale with long, thin fingers.

When grown indoors Green Haze 19 A5 will need support. A SCROG system will allow you to accommodate the many branches and multiple bud sites. Be sure to leave plenty of room on the screen for when the plant stretches. With a flowering period in excess of 16 weeks, this strain will continue to grow a lot after you flip the lights to 12/12. We suggest doing so at the earliest opportunity.

You should only consider growing Green Haze 19 A5 outdoors if you live in a tropical or sub-tropical climate. The natural finishing season of this strain is from late December into January, which puts outdoor grows out of reach for most of our readers.

If you are lucky enough to live in a tropical or subtropical environment, prepare a spot with a rich mix of humus and then leave the plant to its own devices. Do not be tempted to overfeed this strain.

Outside of the tropics, a greenhouse may help you to finish this plant off. Although you will still need to live in a zone with enough light for the plant to flower successfully. Outdoor growers from the north – forget it.
