King Kong from Big Buddha Seeds is one of at least 3 different marijuana strains named after the big ape (See also All Star Genetics King Kong and Dr Underground King Kong).
The Buddha’s King Kong is a three way cross of hardcore genetics. After selecting a fruity female specimen of Gorilla Glue #4, which favored the Chemdog genetic line, he pollinated her with a mix of White Widow and Cheese Reversed. The result, being 50% Gorilla Glue #4, stays true those Gorilla properties.
What the Cheese and Widow genes bring to the table appears to be yield. King Kong can return some very impressive results and is a good choice for commercial growers. Numerous giant buds bear clusters of glittering trichomes, creating great bag appeal.
King Kong can be quite sour and funky in the grow room. Make sure your odor control is up to scratch. She packs a beautiful taste when smoked; a complex medley of sugary sweet and chemically sour underpinned by earthy hash.
The hit from King Kong is largely upbeat and euphoric with a twisted psychedelic kick. This is happy weed, and there’s lots of it.
