Simpson Kush (A.K.A. Rick Simpson) from Delta 9 Labs is a sativa dominant medicinal marijuana strain. The thinking behind this hybrid was to develop a strain that had the added yield and great flavor of NL5# Haze but with the instant hit of OG Kush.

The team at Delta 9 crossed a San Fernando Valley (SFV) cut of the inimitable OG Kush, one that they had been working with for years, with their own Fruit of Gods (NL5# Haze X Skunk #1). The result is a strain that yields better than the Kush, but that still has the desired rapid onset high.

Simpson Kush will return very respectable yields. As with most strains, appropriate training techniques will increase these. She’s an easy plant to manage, seldom reaching more than 60” (150cm) and normally staying at around 50” (125cm).

Simpson Kush smokes with the same incense/pine scent that has its roots in the Haze family. There are also hints of sourness from the Kush. The high comes on straight away and is clear and functional. This makes Simpson Kush a suitable daytime smoke. This coupled with reported anti-spasmodic qualities is what gives this strain its reputation as a good medical strain.
