Mandala – Hashberry Seeds

Overview

Hashberry is another great marijuana strain from Mandala Seeds. Like all of the strains from Mandala these seeds have been grown 100% organically.

Although the exact breeding is not known here, we do know that the genetic influences are rooted deep in northern India. The strain originates from some seeded weed that was gifted to Mike and Jasmin of Mandala in Haight-Ashbury, San Francisco during the ‘80s. The weed was so good they kept the seeds and used them to begin this line by crossing them with a special male from Indian landrace stock. The name Hashberry comes from both the flavor and also from the initials of Haight-Ashbury, where they had the good fortune to stumble across it.

Hashberry is a typical indica with a short and broad structure and large rock hard kolas. It is a very easy plant to grow, being tolerant of a variety of conditions. She can take some rough treatment and is an ideal choice for beginners or those who need low maintenance plants.

The size and uniformity of Hashberry make it a great candidate for SOG set-ups. Yields can be very good, especially outdoors where it can turn into a large and very productive bush.

Hashberry smokes with a luxurious tart berry flavor that is underpinned by a strong hash taste. The hit is smooth and relaxing. It starts off a little upbeat and in the head but soon mellows out into a deep and long lasting stone.

Hashberry may be of some interest to the medical marijuana community as a relaxant and moderate analgesic.
