Overview
Mandala #1 is a sativa dominant strain from Mandala Seeds. Mandala market this strain as “#1 Outdoor Strain for the North” and so this strain will be of huge interest to sativa fans in cooler, damper climates who struggle to find good outdoor strains.
Mandala#1 is a massive yielder. Commercial growers will also be interested here. Although indoor yields are decent, outdoor yields are absolutely massive. Two pounds and more per plant is possible with the right conditions. This strain will grow very well outdoors in most climate zones. Excellent mold and pest resistance make her an ideal guerrilla strain.
Mandala #1 will show in one of two distinct phenotypes. The first is an indica dominant pheno that is medium sized with a squat structure and thick stems. This plant is useful for SOG grows.
The second and most common phenotype is sativa dominant. This pheno will stretch more, assuming the typical Christmas tree structure with long productive side branches. This pheno responds very well to SCROG set-ups.
It is easy to tell which phenos you have during veg, so if you get the one you’re looking for it is a good idea to take clones for use as a mother plant.
Mandala #1 burns with a sweet fruity taste that is redolent of apples. The hit is a beautifully uplifting, euphoric and creative.
