Royal Queen Seeds – Northern Light Automatic

Overview

Northern Light Automatic from Royal Queen Seeds is one of many automatic versions of the great Northern Lights available on the market. Northern Lights is a Dutch classic that has been at the top of many growers’ favorites list since the ‘80s. It’s only right that a Dutch seedbank created an autoflowering version of the popular strain, particularly given how prevalent auto strains have become over the last couple years.

Northern Light Automatic is a very easy plant to grow and a great choice for beginners. With no need to change lighting schedules, growers should set their lights for 18/6 or 20/4 throughout the whole grow. There is no need to train Northern Light Auto either, just plant the seed and give her light, fresh air and a medium feeding schedule. She will grow up to about 31”-48” (80cm-120cm) indoors. Outdoors she will reach about 51”-63” (130cm-160cm).

The entire lifespan is between 10-12 weeks after the seed is planted. Her fairly tall stature for an autoflower makes for incredible yields too, estimating to be around 550g/m² and 200g/plant outside. She is adaptable to most climates and seasons.

Her fast flowering time combined with her whopping yields make Northern Light Automatic viable for commercial growers. She is also available in feminized, for cultivators who want even larger harvests, but less frequently throughout the year.

Just like the original Northern Lights, this automatic variety retains its sweet and pleasant taste and aroma. Anticipate flavours of citrus, fruit with a hint of pepper. The hit is a wonderful hybrid that starts off cerebral and energetic but soon morphs into a physical and relaxing stone. Lower THC levels offer a clear and uplifting high.
