There are a few phenos of Royal Gorilla that you might expect. All have outrageously high THC levels with some being reported at over 30%! Royal Gorilla is fairly easy to grow. She will reach heights of 35-63″ (90-160cm) indoors. Outdoor growers with a nice sunny climate can expect plants of 51-67″ (130-170cm).

Indoor growers may wish to train her to make her more manageable and to increase her yields. Pretty much any of the training techniques are applicable. Try topping her out a couple of times once she’s reached five or six nodes and LST her out to develop a wide canopy with multiple heads.

Buds are nice and dense with a beautiful lime green coloration. Towards the end of her flowering period, this color is almost obscured by drifts of sparkling resin glands. Rumour has it that the original Gorilla Glue name came on account of her incredible stickiness. You know how it is, once you’ve got those sticky fingers, you seem to stick to everything!

Royal Gorilla smokes with a very pleasing sweet earthy taste that is highlighted with lemony pine notes. A definite nod to the sativa in the family tree. As a perfect 50/50 hybrid, Royal Gorilla delivers a balanced high that is mentally stimulating whilst being physically relaxing. Her astonishing hybrid potential was rewarded at 2014 Cannabis Cup and 2015 World Cannabis Cup, where she came in first place in the best hybrid category.
