Overview
In creating Flo DJ Short has back crossed two Floral Lines that have been selected from a mix of Highland Oxacan Gold, Chocolate Thai and Afghani genetics. The result is a sativa dominant strain that really likes to stretch her legs.
Flo has lots of lateral branches, all producing elongated and tightly packed buds. The calyxes have a nice purple color in some growing environments.
If you are growing Flo indoors you will need to take control of her size. Flip the lights quite early in veg and consider training techniques such as Supercropping, LST and SCROG.
When grown outdoors Flo really comes into her own. Leave her to grow wild and her branchy structure makes her yields very rewarding. This strain is suitable for multiple harvesting. Start taking the topmost, ripest buds around the end of September and she will keep producing right up until the temperature gets too cold. This can make for massive yields, especially in the lower latitudes.
Flo smokes with a pleasant earthy flavor like squidgy black hash. The hit is uplifting, creative and motivational.
