Mephisto Genetics – Ripley’s OG Autoflowering Feminized Seeds

Overview

Whilst sampling and assessing over 50 different OG strains for use in their autoflower breeding projects, Mephisto of Spain chose two which they considered to have the most merit; a Triangle Kush cut which they went on to use for their popular Auto Triangle Kush, and a sample of an Alien OG which they used as the basis for Ripley’s OG. By crossing Alien OG with a large sativa dominant auto from their breeding stock, Mephisto have managed to introduce lots of sativa qualities to this automatic strain.

Ripley’s OG is one of the biggest of Mephisto’s autoflowering strains, stretching up to around 4 feet in height, pretty big for any auto. She has a good open structure and yields are also pretty large. Around 4 ounces per plant are achievable under good lights and growing conditions.

The buds on Ripley’s OG are long and dense with all parts of the plant being productive. The smell and taste has a sweet berry edge which is fresh and sharp.

Although the growth patterns are all sativa, the hit is a heavy, narcotic indica stone that is deep and blissful and sleepy. There are some cerebral effects but the overall sensation is a heavy body bake that is sedative and may be of interest to the medical marijuana community.
