Serious Seeds – Chronic

Overview

Chronic is an indica-dominant strain from the nice people at Serious Seeds. A three-way cross between Northern Lights, Skunk and AK47. With lineage like that, it’s easy to see why she’s been given the name she has.

Chronic forms a short to medium sized plant that has sparse side branching, putting all of its energy into a large central cola of incredible volume. Her stature is not super dense though, and Chronic is labelled as the perfect combination of very good yield and excellent quality.

Thanks to her indica genetics, Chronic produces harvests in the region of 600g/m². Her growth pattern is suitable for a SOG set-up which can boost these figures up to 800g/m² if grown in the right conditions. Her homogeneity also makes SOG a viable option. This is a very stable strain and individual phenotypes should all be very similar, providing the uniformity required for this method. However, other techniques such as Topping or Screen of Green are not recommended as this could adversely impact crop sizes.

Chronic develops a sweet bouquet during flowering and this is consistent right until harvesting time. Taking extra care when drying, curing and packaging ensures her brilliant aroma is retained without affecting smoke quality. Her flowering time is anywhere between 9-10 weeks.

Just like her smell, the taste is also sweet and you experience this on every inhale. Chronic is a must have for indica lovers. You are almost guaranteed a large yield and a superb body stone that should have you stuck on the sofa for quite some time.
